Quick post here as I have to get some sewing done. There is much to do. I'm working on a
little sundress for Liz, and using my Singer Featherweight 221, known here as Maeve. I have a great new attachment for it - a Singer pinker. It goes right on the machine and makes the neatest pinked edge. I may never serge again. I got the attachment from April 1930's. She has good quality items and ships quickly and efficiently. Her packaging is great too. I recommend her if you're looking for vintage Singer Featherweight items.
Another Singer has joined the sewing machine family. It's a lovely 115 treadle, with the Goldwing decals. The decals aren't as good as I'd like, but can this machine ever sew. Here are a few before and after pictures. The cabinet is a parlour cabinet and in very nice shape.
I'm going to work on the sundress now, and hopefully measure a couple of quilttops for borders. I'm on a roll...Don't stop me now...oh, and sewing at the trailer is still a lot of fun!
